This is the amazing story of an amazing lady.  Frances Jane Crosby was blinded by an unwise medical treatment at only six weeks of age.  Her blindness was irreversible and she remained sightless for the rest of her long life.  Yet she was never heard to complain. Instead, she set herself to writing songs and poems in praise to God.  She  became the most prolific hymn writer in American history, producing nearly 9,000 hymns.  Over a hundred years after her death, most of our hymnbooks today contain several of her songs.  She worked tirelessly with Dwight Moody and Ira D.
